Hey all,

I don't blog much, but last night I had quite an experience playing with Selaelo Selota and other musicians from South Africa. Aside from being an incredible musical experience, they were all such amazing, interesting, and genuine people. I want to go down to Cape Town some time and play music for sure.

I'm swamped by work and gigs, so that's all for now.

I've never really blogged before, but I figured now is a good time to start. 

I'm absolutely loving USC—the music is awesome, I have some great friends, and I've been able to balance out my life well. I've developed a strong relationship with my main two music teachers Bob Mintzer and Jason Goldman and I think I'm really developing well on the saxophone though it's a slow and painstaking process. It's amazing how one week I"ll be really pleased with how things are...
